Art has been a member of the Sierra Madre Search and Rescue Team since 1991, and for more than 10 of those years, he had been a member of the board of director, including three years as vice president and three years as president. He is a senior operations leader with the Team, and at various times has chaired the new-members training committee, the equipment committee, and the R&D committee. Art also severed two terms as chair of the California Region, and he is currently the Sierra Madre representative at region meetings.
Outside of SAR, Art is an avid climber, caver, mountaineer, and skier. He is also the Director of Science and Technology for an aerospace materials firm where, among other things, he designs and builds rocket engines.

Doug McCall has been a field member of Seattle Mountain Rescue since 2008. Doug has also served as the chair of the Washington region and former Secretary/Treasurer and Member at Large with the MRA. Doug began climbing in the Washington Cascades in 1992 and enjoys alpine ascents, mixed climbing, and backcountry skiing.
Doug is Manager of IT Product Analysis at a software company in Seattle.

Search & Rescue Team
Antonio has been a member of the Ventura County Sheriff’s East Valley Search and Rescue Team since 2000 holding the positions of Operations Leader and SAR Academy Coordinator. Previously Antonio was a reserve officer with the Los Angeles Police Department leading an emergency response team for 13 years. Prior to the position of MRA Secretary/Treasurer officer, Antonio was the one of the member-at-large officers. Antonio has held the Chair, Vice-chair, and Secretary/Treasurer positions in the California Region and is one of the senior accreditation evaluators for the region. To pay for his SAR activities, Antonio is an IT database administrator for a global corporation.

Dr. Sheets is the medical director
and a mission leader for Rocky Mountain Rescue Group in Boulder, Colorado, one of the oldest and busiest teams in the MRA. She joined the team in 2006. Alison is the current ICAR MEDCOM delegate for the MRA as well as past ICAR terrestrial alternate delegate. More locally she serves as the MRA Rocky Mountain Region Chair and is a lead evaluator for region accreditations. Prior to her rescue career she was a professional mountain guide and ski patroller and continues to avidly pursue these sports. Professionally she works as an emergency physician in a community based hospital in Boulder County since 2008.

Glenn is a retired high school geometry and algebra teacher. He also was a retail drug store manager and district manager for 25 years. He started in SAR in 1979 with Hemet Search and Rescue. On January 11, 1982 he was accepted as a member of Riverside Mountain Rescue Unit. He was on the team for 30 minutes when he was called out for a plane crash for his first mission and has been “rolling out” for the past 36 years. Glenn has served as past president of RMRU many times and is a past California Region Chair. Now retired, Glenn earned his Captain’s license and spends time sailing his 36’ sailboat, Summer Wind with family and friends.
